DEFACTUM is a part of Corporate Quality in Central Denmark Region. The purpose of DEFACTUM is to create synergy between practice, research and the political-administrative levels within healthcare, social services and the labour market. Our focus is to promote public health and increase social equality in health.

DEFACTUM is organised into four divisions:

• Rehabilitation
• Public Health & Health Services Research
• Quality Improvement
• Data & Documentation

DEFACTUM aims to transform the latest knowledge about public health into specific and targeted efforts and improvement projects. DEFACTUM is a part of a number of networks consisting of researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers.

DEFACTUM collaborates with municipalities, universities, and hospitals, as well as regional and national authorities, and we are involved in national quality projects. 

DEFACTUM is associated with Department of Public Health at Aarhus University, and our research follows the same international standards regarding quality.

At DEFACTUM we strive for excellence in all aspects of our work. We thus continuously aspire to expand and develop our knowledge within the fields of healthcare, social services and the labour market.
